The Rise of Green Technology: An Insight into Solar Technology in Malaysia

The target to reduce the carbon footprint by 40% by 2020 is achievable with the collaboration of the entire citizen in the country. Malaysia should embrace the role as a leader in green technology and become a strategic niche player in high value green industries and services that play to our competitive advantages. When considering the reality, Malaysia is facing a lot of obstacles ahead which will eventually bring us a better tomorrow.
The phenomenon urges MESCORP 2010/2011 to conduct research specifically on solar industry coupling with green technology. The team will analyze, extract and compile the findings which would definitely beneficial to consumers, industries and the government. We are extending our research to future models and hence will be comparing Malaysia in its present status with neighboring nations and our challenges in the future to achieve our maximum potential.

MESCORP team will be presenting research finding regarding the solar technology trend and feasibility study on solar technology development in Malaysia in comparison with the development of Singapore and China. Besides, conference will include panel session by prominent figures about the topic on green energy, green building, photovoltaic fabrication technology and environmental friendly vehicle to share and create awareness among delegates.
